My Guiding Philosophy: By bringing more awareness to the mind, body, and spirit connection we can "learn from the past, honor the present, and embrace the future." - Brittney K. Gibson
Public Speaking Engagements:
Dance/Movement Therapy uses the body as a tool that gives form to unconscious processes and facilitates emotional healing. The body is utilized as an integral part of the psychotherapeutic experience to enhance one’s quality of life. It encompasses the whole self (mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually).
Dance/Movement Therapy can address the somatic symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma more effectively than just verbal therapy alone.
Absolutely not! During sessions we will explore how to reconnect to your body through various techniques and methods that do not require any formal dance training or experience.
Are you ready to start your healing journey? Let's connect through a 15 minute chemistry call to see if we are a good match!
